Bonsai in a Ball - Kokedama Workshop (Sat, 31 March)

Bring green into your home by learning how to make kokedama, a little Japanese moss ball. It is the perfect combination of functionality and decoration that can last for years with some simple maintenance.

What is kokedama? Koke means moss and dama is ball. Traditionally, bonsai were grown in kokedama and displayed in prominent indoor locations. Nowadays, they are used to grow all types of plants and are often bound with string so they may also be hung around the home.

This workshop is suitable for participants aged 8 and above. Parental supervision is required for children below 12. Parents/guardians will be permitted to accompany their children to the workshop for the sole purpose of attending to their needs. Children (8~12 yrs) will not be permitted to join the workshop without supervision.

Participants will be in direct contact with soil and live plants.

This workshop is brought to you by Make Your Own.
